To give you an idea of what you’ll get up to when you come on one of our Whale Swim Discovery trips, we have included an example itinerary below:
Day 1:
Your adventure has begun! Welcome to Whale Discoveries Tonga.
10am Board SY Wildlife, our beautiful catamaran, for your live-aboard charter. The yacht will be along-side at the Pangai wharf in the small boat harbour. We will conduct an orientation and safety briefing with morning tea being served. Accommodation is in 3 comfortable double berth cabins, with a shared bathroom. Aboard Wildlife there are many areas to enjoy the scenery, relax on the deck, in the cockpit and in the saloon. You will enjoy 3 delicious home cooked meals a day while on board.
Day 1 - Day 7:
Sail amongst the pristine islands of the Ha’apai Island group, swimming with the whales and marine fauna, exploring the islands, visiting the villages of the outer islands and more! Each night will be spent at an island anchorage (decided by the Captain) based on the weather conditions and the best whale swimming opportunities. This usually equates to being in the right spot at the right time!
Day 8:
After a scrumptious breakfast we disembark Wildlife at 10am in the Pangai harbour Ha’apai.
Price for 2025 trips:
$8,200 AUD per person for 8 days / 7 nights on board SY Wildlife. This includes 3 wholesome and delicious meals a day, non-alcoholic beverages (tea and coffee, coconuts and rain water) and all whale swims while on board SY Wildlife.
